The above course offered at The Academy of Hotel Management will consist of the following main programmes and practical subjects:

1. Accommodation Management and Operations

2. Reception Operations and Services

3. Food and Beverage Service

4. Food Preparation and CulinaryArts

5. Assessment of Students


During the year our students
visit various Hospitality related businesses, amongst others being places such as a wine farm and a cheese factory.

All students receive practical training from both our lecturers on site and by means of experimental training within 
carefully selected hotels.

Students evaluation takes the form of theoretical examinations,
practical examinations,
practical examinations, 
continuous evaluation and projects.

During all evaluations/examinations of practical training, persons from within the industry will assist.


Student assessments will take the form of one or more of the following:

  • Practical and Theoretical Tests

  • Theoretical Examinations

  • Practical Examinations

  • Assignments

  • Projects

  • Oral Questioning

  • All in-house training and practical will be carried out at the Halevy Heritage Hotel and various other suitable venues that will be determined from time to time.

  • All lectures, practical training and assessments are carried out by suitably qualified persons.

  • The course fee includes study material, lectures and practical training on site.

  • The course fee excludes international examination fees, field trips, transport to and from various activities and place of work, accommodation for students, stationery and uniforms, a list of which is available upon successful acceptance.

  • All students will be required to sign a more in depth contract on acceptance.
